Esthetic

In our ever-evolving world of skincare and aesthetics, it can be hard to keep up with the latest and greatest treatments. We have compiled a list of the top 10 best treatments based on feedback from our clients and estheticians. Whether you want to rejuvenate your skin or achieve a specific goal, these treatments are sure to deliver results. Keep reading for more information!

#1. Skin Brightening Facials

Facials are a foundation of esthetic services. They can be used to apply various skincare products and specialty products. A brightening facial is one of the most requested facials. The purpose of the facial is to reduce the appearance of dark spots, acne marks, or hyperpigmentation. Although every salon or esthetician office will offer a different version of this facial, there are some common ingredients and results that you can expect. Vitamin C, hyaluronic acid, Niacinamide, and many other ingredients are common in brightening facial formulas.

#2. Lip Blushing & Microblading

As people choose low-maintenance makeup, semi-permanent makeup is becoming more popular. Semi-permanent makeup involves microblading with a fine tool to deposit pigments beneath the skin. This tool is most commonly used to microblade eyebrows and blush lips. Microblading can create fuller, more defined eyebrows by creating hair stroke-like shapes. These tools create a semi-permanent lip blush that gives the lips a natural rosy hue.

#3. Chemical Peels

Chemical peels improve the skin’s appearance by causing the outer layer to peel. This can decrease the appearance of wrinkles, age spots, and hyperpigmentation. This new layer of skin appears brighter and has fewer wrinkles. This type of advanced chemical-based exfoliation can irritate. Although it can be distressing at first, the skin will look much better once the process is complete.

#4. LED Acne Treatment

LED acne therapy uses LED lights to kill bacteria that cause acne. This treatment involves using LED lights to lighten the skin for a long time. Although there is evidence that this treatment may be effective, large-scale studies have not been done. The quality of the devices used in this service may also vary.

#5. Microdermabrasion & Dermabrasion

Dermabrasion is a skin resurfacing procedure where a rotating device uses dermabrasion to remove the first layer. Microdermabrasion can be distinguished from dermabrasion because it is a lighter exfoliating version. Although dermabrasion intends to remove skin cells, it is more based on physical exfoliation techniques. Dermabrasion, however, is more suitable for advanced hyperpigmentation or deep scarring. Dermabrasion is more time-consuming and can have more side effects during the process.

#6. Laser Hair Removal and Sugar Waxing

Salon owners and estheticians are often in high demand for hair removal services. Some prefer to use sugar scrubs or waxes for hair removal, but many prefer laser hair removal. This laser is used to stop hair growth at follicle levels.

#7. Microneedling

Microneedling intends to increase collagen production. Patients often report smoother skin after a few microneedling sessions. They also notice a better texture and complexion. Microneedling can be used to reduce scarring from long-term acne. Fine needles are used to roll across the skin to stimulate collagen production. This is technically a small procedure that creates tiny openings in your skin. It is recommended that you consult your dermatologist or esthetician before attempting this procedure.

#8. Anti-Aging Facials

Anti-aging facials can also be a type of skin care treatment. These facials are designed to reduce wrinkles, age spots, and uneven skin tone. These facials contain forms of vitamin A and vitamin E and vitamin C, ceramides, antioxidants, and vitamin C. They may include many active ingredients or tailored products.

#9. Brow lamination

Brow lamination was a popular trend in 2021. This involves smudging the eyebrows then applying a setting cream to set them. Then you leave them alone for several weeks. The result is full brows with individual hairs. This contrasts with eyebrow pencils and gels filling the eyebrows with a solid pigment.

#10. Dermaplaning

Another exfoliation method is Dermaplaning. It helps by removing the outer layer of dead skin and exposes the fresher layer beneath. This is done by using a tiny blade to scrape the skin. This procedure is usually less painful than dermabrasion. Dermaplaning can reduce the appearance of sun damage spots, hyperpigmentation, and acne scars.

Many of these services can cause irritation and dermatitis if not carefully evaluated. Some treatments may not be suitable for all skin types. Before you start a new facial or any other service, make sure to speak with your doctor. Be cautious when adding chemical ingredients to your skin or using physical exfoliation tools.
