Rosacea
Treatments
Targeted phototherapy to collapse broken capillaries and reduce chronic redness, paired with barrier-repairing protocols to manage flare-ups and improve long-term skin quality.
How Rosacea Treatment Works
Rosacea is a chronic inflammatory condition characterized by overactive blood vessels, persistent facial flushing, and a compromised skin barrier. Traditional facials or harsh exfoliants only irritate it further.
To clear the redness, we physically close the broken capillaries beneath the surface. We use highly targeted light therapy (like BBL) to safely heat and coagulate the damaged vascular network, forcing the body to reabsorb it.
By eliminating the damaged vessels and prescribing pharmaceutical-grade soothing topicals to rebuild your skin's defensive barrier, we significantly reduce flare-ups and restore a cool, even, and calm complexion.
Clinical Pathways
Rosacea presents differently in every patient. We map your vascular network and build a customized clearance regimen. Your provider will recommend the right option.
BBL® Hero
BroadBand Light targets the hemoglobin inside broken capillaries and spider veins, safely collapsing them to reduce chronic facial redness. Considered the clinical standard for vascular rosacea.
Laser Facial
A customizable, zero-downtime light therapy session designed to constrict widespread, diffuse redness across the cheeks and reduce the overall vascular appearance of a rosacea flare-up.
Custom Calming Facial
A clinical facial focused on cooling and deep hydration. No aggressive extractions or harsh scrubs — soothing masks and specialized serums are used to repair a compromised skin barrier.
HydraFacial
Rosacea skin still gets congested but cannot handle harsh scrubs. We customize the HydraFacial with lower suction and calming boosters (like Rozatrol) to safely extract and soothe simultaneously.
Dermaplaning
Because rosacea patients cannot tolerate granular scrubs or aggressive acid peels, Dermaplaning offers a blade-based manual exfoliation that smooths the skin without triggering a flare-up.
Medical Skincare
The most critical step in managing rosacea is your daily routine. We prescribe medical-grade systems (like ZO Skin Health Rozatrol) to suppress redness, normalize oil, and fortify your skin's defensive barrier.

What to know before booking a rosacea treatment at ELLEMES.
Rosacea is a chronic genetic and vascular condition. While it cannot be permanently cured, it can be effectively managed. By using lasers to destroy the broken blood vessels and medical-grade skincare to repair your skin barrier, we can significantly reduce flares and keep your skin consistently clear.
BBL (BroadBand Light) uses targeted light energy that is specifically absorbed by the hemoglobin in your blood vessels. The heat safely causes the weak, broken vessel walls to collapse. Your body then naturally absorbs the collapsed vessel, removing the redness from your skin's surface.
Most patients find the treatment very tolerable. It often feels like a quick, warm rubber band snapping against the skin. Because rosacea skin is sensitive, we use sapphire cooling tips on our lasers to keep the skin cool and comfortable throughout the procedure.
For initial clearance of severe redness and broken capillaries, we typically recommend a series of 3 to 5 BBL sessions spaced a few weeks apart. Once the vessels are cleared, we recommend maintenance sessions 1 to 2 times a year.
Common triggers include intense sun exposure, extreme heat or cold, spicy foods, alcohol (especially red wine), and stress. Using medical-grade SPF every single day is the most important step you can take to prevent vascular dilation and protect your treatment results.
