Hip Dips
Hip dips are normal contours influenced by bone structure, muscle and fat distribution. A smoother outline may be your preference, but no particular appearance needs correction for health reasons.
Flat or Deflated Buttocks
Age, genetics and weight change can affect body shape. The expected change and proposed quantity need an individual discussion. If you are also considering facial treatment with dermal fillers , ask for a separate assessment of that area.
Asymmetry
Some asymmetry is normal. A new, painful or unexplained change deserves medical assessment. An injectable should not be presented as a guaranteed way to balance the two sides.
Post-Weight-Loss Volume Loss
Weight loss can affect both volume and skin laxity. These are different concerns, and adding volume may not address loose skin. If you are separately considering Sculptra for the face , it requires its own facial assessment.
Skin Laxity & Texture
Texture, stretch marks and excess skin may need different approaches. Discuss what is realistic for the actual concern before combining procedures such as microneedling . Each proposed treatment needs its own assessment.
Surgery-Averse Patients
Discuss what matters most to you: avoiding surgery, the amount of change, recovery or cost. A consultation should compare appropriate options and include the option of no treatment.

What to Expect
Your first step is a 30-minute Liquid BBL consultation ($100). If treatment is appropriate and you choose to proceed, the separate treatment appointment is listed as 60–90 minutes. The steps below describe that treatment visit; recovery and follow-up should be discussed individually.
Consultation & Body Assessment
Discuss your anatomy, previous procedures, medical history and goals. Review the unapproved use, FDA warning and alternatives. If a treatment plan is proposed, obtain a product-specific quote.
Marking & Numbing
If a procedure is considered, the provider should explain the proposed technique, preparation and pain-control options, including ingredients that may cause allergic reactions.
Injection Process
Ask which product and anatomical area are proposed and what training and complication-response arrangements are in place. A cannula does not eliminate vascular or other injection risks.
Immediate Aftercare
Follow the treating clinician’s specific instructions about sitting, exercise, massage and follow-up. Swelling, tenderness or bruising can last longer than a few days, and worsening symptoms need assessment.
Results Over Time
Early fullness may include swelling and is not a reliable final result. Review healing and concerns with the treating clinician; neither the degree nor duration of a buttock result is guaranteed.
Post-Treatment Tips
Do not stop prescribed medicines without the prescribing clinician’s advice. Follow individualized aftercare rather than a generic massage schedule. How Many Sessions & How Often
There is no universal vial count or session schedule for buttock enhancement. Facial protocols should not be assumed to apply to this unapproved use.
Early fullness does not establish a final result or the need for another session. Assess healing and potential complications before considering additional treatment.
Repeat or maintenance injections should not be automatic. Discuss whether additional treatment is appropriate, including the option not to proceed.

How the Liquid BBL Works
Surgical fat transfer and a Liquid BBL are different procedures. Injectable body contouring uses manufactured products; it should not be described as containing only your own tissue.
Sculptra contains poly-L-lactic acid and Radiesse contains calcium hydroxylapatite. Their effects on tissue do not remove product-related risks or establish approval for every injection site.
For the goals of rounding out hip dips, improving skin laxity, and adding projection , the FDA recommends against injectable filler for body contouring. Review this guidance before making a treatment decision.
