What to Expect
A Vampire Facial appointment takes approximately 75–90 minutes including the blood draw and numbing time. Here’s what happens at each step.
Consultation & Blood Draw
Your aesthetician reviews your skin concerns and treatment goals. A small blood draw (similar to a routine lab test) is taken from your arm. The blood is placed in a centrifuge to separate the platelet-rich plasma from the red blood cells.
Numbing
A medical-grade topical lidocaine cream is applied to the treatment area and left to take effect while the centrifuge processes your blood. This ensures comfort throughout the microneedling process.
SkinPen Microneedling + PRP
The SkinPen device creates controlled micro-injuries at calibrated depths while your concentrated PRP is applied simultaneously. The growth factors penetrate directly into the dermis through the microchannels, amplifying the collagen-stimulating response.
Post-Treatment & SPF
A calming post-procedure serum is applied. Any remaining PRP may be layered on top to continue absorbing. A mineral SPF protects the freshly treated skin. You’ll receive aftercare instructions before leaving.

Avoid direct sun exposure and use mineral SPF for at least 7 days. No makeup for 12–24 hours. Avoid retinols, AHAs/BHAs, and exfoliants for 72 hours.
